      How much time will it take me to set up this system?
      To complete just the first component just relating to your bookkeeping paperwork, there are 2-4 videos for each of the four steps. The steps are split up so that you can implement as you go. The full run time of the videos for only those steps (not including bonuses) is just under 2 hours. Implementation depends on you and your situation. However, if you were a keener, you could have the system set up within a week or two, if not sooner!
       
      How long will it take me to go through this course?
      Total runtime of all videos in the core four steps is a smidge over an hour and a half. Naturally, there will be work you need to do, but you can consume the content and literally be setting yourself up for success by the end of today.
       
      Does my Government accept electronic copies of everything if I am audited?
      The IRS (United States), CRA (Canada), ATO (Australia) are among many countries encouraging taxpayers (personal and business) to use paperless technology to create timeless and easily indexed electronic files. Check with your local bookkeeper or accountant for details in your area.
      Do I need a Dropbox Pro (paid) Account to follow your system?
      A Dropbox Pro Account is not 100% necessary, but it’s certainly recommended.  The Pro account gives 1TB which is enough storage for the typical user to put all their bookkeeping and other computer files in there – and the benefits and security of having all your files backed up, and accessible is well worth the $100 USD/year that the Pro Account costs.

      That said, you can certainly get started on just bookkeeping organizing with the free Dropbox account. As long as you can fit your bookkeeping files into the 2 GB the free account allows you, you’ll still be miles ahead of the game!
      Will I still need to keep my paperwork in hard copy?
      As long as you are storing your digitized paperwork securely, and backed up, then no – you don’t NEED to. That said, some people choose to keep paper for a year or so. But as you become confident about the ease of having everything digitized, you’ll see that there’s no need for it.
      Will I need to purchase software or hardware? How much will I be spending?
      As with many systems, there is a range you can expect to spend. If you want, you can create this system with free programs. However, we do recommend paid options, because your time is valuable, and we’d prefer to see everything go as smoothly as possible.

      In that case, you could probably spend as little as $150 per year or less on the tools you’d need. We talk about the range of options within the course, but know that you can buy scanners for as little as $50.
       
      Does this work for both Mac and PC users?

      I do a lot of travel and don’t always have internet, is this a problem?
      No, not at all. As long as you have a smartphone while you travel, then you should be covered. In this case, it might be advisable to keep paper copies of everything until you’ve uploaded your files, though.

      Using a smaller screen of an iPhone certainly is a bit slower than using a computer to organize yourself digitally.
